Definition: A power plant specific valve that complies with the American standard (ASME B16.34) and is classified into pressure classes in pounds (Class) (such as Class 150-2500).
Characteristics:
Material and Structure: Made of carbon steel, stainless steel, and other materials, the structure is compact, the flow channel is straight, and the flow resistance is reduced;
Sealing technology: The sealing surface is welded with cobalt based hard alloy (such as Stellite), and the valve stem is quenched, tempered, and nitrided for wear and high temperature resistance;
Extreme working condition adaptation: can withstand temperatures ranging from -29 ℃ to 570 ℃ and high pressures (such as Class 3500Lb), suitable for media such as water, steam, and oil products;
Easy maintenance: Supports electric or manual operation, some are designed with detachable valve seats, and there is no need to remove pipes during maintenance.
Application: Mainly used for opening and closing control of main steam pipelines, water supply systems, and high-pressure pipelines in the fields of thermal power, nuclear power, and chemical engineering.
