Definition: American standard floating ball valve is a valve that complies with American standards (such as API, ANSI, ASME). Its floating ball automatically compresses the outlet valve seat through medium pressure to achieve sealing, and is suitable for high pressure, high temperature, and harsh working conditions.
Core features:
Standard specifications: comply with API 607 (fire protection), API 6D (pipeline valves), and ASME B16.34 (pressure temperature rating).
High pressure design: The pressure rating covers Class 150~Class 1500 (up to 42MPa), suitable for high-pressure pipelines such as oil and natural gas.
Reinforced structure: The valve seat adopts metal hard seal or PTFE, and the valve body material is ASTM standard carbon steel/stainless steel, which is corrosion-resistant and erosion resistant;
Safety redundancy: Anti static conductive springs, fire-resistant structures, and anti valve stem blowing designs ensure safety under extreme working conditions.
Typical applications: High pressure and highly corrosive medium transportation systems such as liquefied natural gas (LNG), refining equipment, and offshore platforms.
